Volunteer - Driver for Food Charity

Delivering hot, freshly cooked meals to our clients Monday to Friday between 10:30 am - 12:30 pm. Meals are collected from the hospital and delivered to clients as per the delivery list prepared by the hospital. Containers are then returned to the hospital to be cleaned and prepared for the next day's deliveries.  A reliable vehicle with current registration and WOF is a must. We can provide a contribution to petrol costs in the form of MTA vouchers which are given at the end of each roster period (every quarter of the year). We have 12 areas of Hamilton that we deliver too, some areas are bigger than others but all meals are generally delivered before 12:30 pm. There is no minimum amount of days you have to commit to delivering, some of our volunteers deliver meals once per week, fortnight or month. We even have volunteers who only offer their time on a casual basis as their schedules change every week. Whatever works for you. Full induction and training are provided....
