THAIMUN is a student led activity which encompasses collaborative and independent learning in their pursuit forms. The Model United Nations (MUN) simulates the United Nations, students discuss real life global issues such as child soldiers, climate change and human trafficking to engage their understanding and exploration of key issues humanity faces today.
MUN is an extension of the school curriculum for history, geography, economics, the arts and the sciences. Individuals who are a part of MUN enhance their skills in formal writing, research and public speaking in discussions typically run outside of class, either in breaks or after school. For 2019, THAIMUN is hosting a debate held at the end of March for MUN teams from around the world.
