Established in 2004, the International Aeon Award for Short Fiction is a fiction writing competition for short stories of any fiction genre that is of a speculative nature.

Stories can be in the genre of fantasy, science fiction, horror, or unclassifiable. First, Second and Third Prize winners have their story published in Albedo One, and First Prize also includes a cash prize of 1000 Euros.

The Aeon Award will be on hiatus during 2020 while we consider a redesign and upgrade of the contest and its rules. If you have entered a story to the Aeon 2020, you will be refunded.

Application Process Includes

Paste submission an email with your contact details and send it to fraslaw@yahoo.co.uk with “Aeon Award Submission” as the Subject of the email. No more than 10,000 words. Must be in English.
