Cornell Model United Nations Conference China (CMUNC China) is an annual high school model UN conference hosted in China. CMUNC China aims to simulate the workings of the United Nations and other international bodies through high-level debates and collaborative opportunities. By assuming the roles of diplomats and UN officials, delegates will gain an insight towards the dynamics and complexities of solving real international relations issues.
CMUNC China strives to offer the best opportunities for delegates to engage not only with international issues but also the overall learning and cultural experience inside and outside the conference. We offer an opportunity for cultural exchange between delegates and directors from Cornell University. As part of the standard for our long-standing Ithaca-based conference, CMUNC, we also value delegate- and advisor- feedback to ensure high satisfaction throughout the conference. Delegates will be encouraged to celebrate the international collaborative attitude found in the U.N.
Please note that due to Covid-19 restrictions, the 2020 CMUNC Conference has been cancelled. The next Conference is set to be held April 22–25, 2021.
