A Student Ccouncil typically serves as the point of communication between the students, teachers and school principal. A Student Council helps students generate ideas, interests and concerns to be heard by those of influence to enable change in the school community.
A Student Council may also organise and run fundraising events for the school community. This can include social events, such as School Balls or Galas, community projects, volunteer days and more. Ultimately, a good Student Council works to achieve improve the school community one step at a time.
