Screenshot is an online photography competition designed to support and encourage excellence in student photographic practice in the visual arts. Held each year since 2011, it offers a high-profile opportunity for students in Years 3–12 to develop their photographic skills and gain recognition for their efforts.
All winning entries are published online on the Art Gallery of New South Wales website.

Winner, second, and highly commended awards are given out in junior, intermediate, and senior age groups. In 2018, 11 photos were given awards across all three groups.
