EduCaixa, the educational arm of CaixaBank, runs a competition among projects developed within the framework of its Young Entrepreneurs educational resource, which it offers free of charge to schools.
In groups of 4 to 6 and led by one teacher, students are to progress through 6 modules representing the life stages of a venture.
After each module, they will apply the relevant lesson towards creating a business, from identifying an issue to be tackled, to developing a business model, to prototyping and establishing its viability.
By the end of the program student's will have finalized their prototypes or businesses and present them to a professional panel.
Winners are awarded with further entrepreneurship education during a workshop at CaixaBank, and the best team there earns a 10-day trip to Silicon Valley.

Competitive program (1200 entries, 35 shortlisted, 5 winners), requires at least some students to have strong background in the subject they create the project in.
