Description

A local chapter of the International Physics Olympiad, the first stage of the Spanish Physics Olympiad is usually held around end of year in each region.

The best participants go on to the National championship, which is usually held around March and includes practical measurement and observation tests.

In turn, the best participants in the National phase are eligible to go on to the International Physics Olympiad, held around July, and/or the Iberian-American Physics Olympiad, held around September.
