KWN is a global hands-on video educational program for students supported by Panasonic. Panasonic aims to contribute to the realization of their philosophy and brand slogan "A Better Life, A Better World." Since 1989, the program aims to stimulate children's creativity, build communication skills and encourage teamwork through video production, based on young people's point of view , "The World Through Their Eyes." There are 3 themes for the Global Contest: Communication, Environment and Sports. KWNGC's panel of judges, composed of video production experts, journalist, educators, and Panasonic officials, select the Grand Prix winner and other top award winners among the videos submitted from all over the world.
