MINIONU is a Model United Nations conference organized by students from the International Relations program at the university PUC Minas Gerais where more than 1000 students participate each year.

The conference offers committees in Portuguese, Spanish and English and participants compete over three days.

Schools can form groups of up to 52 students that can participate in the conference. Although schools may have internal selection criteria regarding who can attend, MINIONU has an open registration process.

Participation Cost


BRL$195 registration fee per student (scholarships are available).

Minimum Technical Skill Needed


Students must prepare to represent different countries and leaders in each committee prior to participating in the event.

Time Commitment


Preparation time and four-day conference in October of each year.

May of each year.
