Who are we? BusinessProCulture.com

Daisuke, my student from Japan, is starting this project to help people around the world learn about attractions and businesses, and to raise awareness about various problems in each country/region.

Business Pro Culture allows anyone to freely post information about the interesting culture and attractions of their city, local businesses, interviews, and issues and problems that are known only to those who live in the area.

The goal is not only to give viewers an opportunity to experience culture and values they have never known before but also to deepen their interest in local issues and to help them take the first step toward solving them.

How did we start?

The reason why Daisuke started this project is that in 2021, he visited Fukushima Prefecture in Japan, where the massive earthquake, tsunami, and subsequent nuclear power plant accident occurred in 2011, and heard many stories from the local residents. There he learned many things about Fukushima that he had never known before, and at the same time, he learned about the many local issues they are facing. After that, he searched for some way to help solve those issues, and he thought that there should be a place where more people would be aware of those issues that only local residents know about, and where people with problem-solving skills in their respective fields could actually provide clues to solving them. He wanted to have a place where people with skills in solving problems in each field could provide solutions.

What we are looking for?

We are looking for people who want to spread the charm of their community to the world, people who can offer new ideas, people who are good at leadership, people who are familiar with Social media management, people who want to be involved in web page management, and many more. Open positions:

• Country leader(1 per country):

Create a strategy of what will be written about your country and different cities.

Introduce your country, showcase the food, culture, places, and main industry/businesses in your country

Research regional problems (issues that people are facing in your country)

Find people to write articles about different cities/regions of your country (it can be people from your school)

• Content creators:

Write articles following the strategy of the country's leader

Help the country leader to research the local issues of your region/city

Making videos of your country

Work closely with the social media manager to provide content for social media

• Social media manager

Create posts for social media based on the videos/pictures/articles given by the content creators

Create social media strategy to grow our community of students around the world that want to showcase their cities/countries

• Website manager/developer:

Manage the website (adding/editing content WordPress, CSS or HTML)

Making website changes (improvements)

• Designer(we need this right now):

Making a more attractive logo on the page and the website design 

Creating/taking a picture of the header and footer on the page

Willingness to learn about cultures all over the world and to work

We offer certifications for volunteers who work with us for a minimum of 2 months.
