Vladimir Lubenko's Small Academy of Arts leads its history from the teaching activities of Vladimir Vasilyevich at the Art and Industrial Academy. V.I. Mukhina, art school named. V.A. Serov, in the art school of MGI, Kirovsk, Leningrad region, where for the first time a new method of teaching painting was implemented. Collective creative practice is the most important component of the educational process in MAI. Joint work on monumental paintings, mosaic panels gives students a unique experience of real artistic practice in socially significant objects. The work process is also the experience of creative communication, searching for interaction, harmonious complement of each other, which (according to graduates testimony) turns out to be an extremely useful skill for them in later life.
We also have an educational theatre. It occupies a special place in the structure of the MAI, as it is a synthesizing art form and has an exceptional educational potential for both the audience and the participants of the performance themselves.
The academy is located here.
