Interested in fighting food waste in your area?
Create a Forward Future chapter at your school. We're currently accepting applications for the 22-23 school year! We already have 15 chapters around the globe. Chapters run 1-2 food drives per year and complete a Forward Project, a year-long project aiming to fight food waste/insecurity at the school level or beyond.
Students passionate about reducing food waste and food insecurity can apply to become a Forward Future Chapter President.
There is no cost involved in becoming a Forward Future Chapter President.
There is little technical skill required in becoming a chapter president. Candidates must be able to use (or be willing to learn): Slack, Airtable, and Zoom.
Approximately 1-2 hours per week. Chapters must run one food drive per semester and complete a Forward Project, a year-long project dedicated to reducing food waste/insecurity at the school level or beyond. The brainstorming and logistics for these activities can be done during club meetings.
Candidates must apply through an Airtable and complete an interview.
