Volunteer at Female Empowerment NGO: WEEDO [MARKETING, FUNDRAISING, HEALTH/NUTRITION]]

WEEDO  is a female empowering and entrepreneurship development organization in Tanzania. 

Their mission is to transform and empower the young women in a sustainable way and to enable them become independent through educational resources. In addition, they focus on the conservation of natural resources.

By educating women, in particular about issues such as English, computing, entrepreneurship, sexual violence, self-confidence and family planning, we help them to build their self-confidence.

Currently, WEEDO is looking for :

- Marketing Manger [HIGH NEED]

Role will include promoting the apparel (ie bags, clothes etc) that the girls at WEEDO sell online, the profits of the sales will go directly to the girl who designed and sewed the item. You will also work with the fundraising manger to promote the fundraisers and increase donations. 

- Fundraising Manager

Organize fundraising initiatives to collect donations for WEEDO (will be used to purchase computers, projectors, facility maintenance etc.) You will be collecting the funds through our GoFundMe site: https://www.gofundme.com/f/yfypp-ciao 

- Health & Nutrition Director 

You will create education curriculum and have engaging sessions with the girls so they have the knowledge to take care of their health. You will teach about both physical/mental health, exercise and nutrition.
