The BlueShift competition is hosted by Queensland University of Technology (QUT), well known as 'a university for the real world' because of their close links with industry and their relevant teachings and applied research.
BlueShift is an annual business case competition for high school students from all over the world. As a participant in the competition, you'll work in a team of three to four students, analysing and preparing a written solution to a real-life business case. The teams with the best submissions present their ideas to a panel of judges at the BlueShift finals, held at our Gardens Point campus in Brisbane.
By participating in BlueShift, you'll:
- apply your academic learning and work in a team on a real-world business case
- develop relevant business skills such as professional presentation, financial analysis and creative problem-solving
- gain valuable insight into the world of business.
If you're a finalist, you'll also have the unique opportunity to meet and network with other competitors from around the world,
QUT Business School staff and alumni, QUT students who belong to our award-winning business case competition team
industry professionals.
The QUT Business School international case competition team is a group of undergraduate students selected after a challenging application process to compete against the best business schools all over the world. BlueShift allows you to experience a similar competition while you're at high school.
