With a long and proud history, Wesley Mission Victoria cares for and supports disadvantaged and vulnerable Victorians through a range of community-based services. They also advocate for a more just society, using our voice to influence community attitudes and government policy.
Wesley volunteers give their time and energy to help deliver their services. Every year, over 1,500 volunteers contribute over 850,000 hours to help Wesley assist more than 52,000 people in need. Anyone 16 years and over can volunteer in a range of areas across our organisation.
Wesley has a variety of volunteer opportunities within their Children, Youth & Family Services for people with a genuine passion for supporting young people and helping them achieve their life potential. They are particularly looking for great role models to establish positive and meaningful relationships with young clients through their accommodation and support programs such as foster care and lead tenant, and assistance with practical activities like driving lessons.
From helping out at recreational weekend camps for children to providing companionship to an adult with a disability, supporting creative art activities or assisting with administrative tasks, there are a wide variety of great volunteer roles available now across Wesley programs.
