There are more than 60 unique ways to volunteer with the Humane Society of the United States—from helping out at our care centers and serving with our rescue and response teams to organizing events and grassroots outreach in your community and more. We have opportunities all around the country, so you don't even have to leave your home to have an impact.

Together with millions of supporters, the Humane Society of the United States takes on puppy mills, factory farms, the fur trade, trophy hunting, animal cosmetics testing and other cruel industries. We rescue and care for thousands of animals every year through our rescue and response team and other hands-on animal care services.
