My name is Sixtine, not necessarily like 'sixteen' but like the chapel 'Sistine'. (If you're a francophone, you feel my pain)
Anyways, I'm a Crimson student and I'm developing my ECL leadership project about affordable cooking. People associate Belgium with chocolate, baked goods, and haute cuisine, which is all true, but I believe that it dissuades people from venturing out into the wonderful world of cooking/baking recipes from my country amongst others in general. I believe that fantastic food is a human right, no matter what socioeconomic status you come from.
Where do you come in? I need people from around the world to share their delicious/economically-friendly recipes in English and/or French with me. We'll credit you of course and post the price of each ingredient. If you're brave enough, we can collab and do a zoom cooking session together! My ultimate goal is to provide local food banks and people in economically disadvantaged situations a guide to cook and/or bake well budget-friendly.
Here's my food blog (a potential future cookbook) called Sweet and Salty 16 https://sweetandsalty16.wixsite.com/sweetandsalty16
As much as you know how to cook!
However long the dish takes to prepare!
