Competition

Description

WriteOn is an annual writing competition open to all NSW primary students in Years 1 to 6. Each year, WriteOn releases an image and students are asked to compose an imaginative text up to 500 words in response. Submissions can be anything from narratives, to letters, to poems, to scripts, interviews, or journal entries. Entries are judged on criteria such as engaging the audience, connection to the image, stylistic devices, structure, purpose and variety of language, and the best entries are compiled in a yearly anthology called The Best of WriteOn.
