[Open] Looking for Web Design, Marketing, and Finance Interns for Geography Resources/Preparation Website

This website is planned to have a sorted-out, curated list of geography competitions and opportunities across the country & worldwide. It is projected to include information on opportunities separated out by the country in which they would take place and provide basic details regarding the ages eligible, dates, contact information, their website, and preparation material. Finally, there’s a general preparation section for all geography competitions worldwide with tips/resources to help students prepare, regardless of their age or level. We aim to support students of all ages to participate effectively in all geography competitions and nurture a love for students in this often overlooked subject.

Job Description:

• Develop websites using WordPress, CSS, HTML, or other web tools.
• Brainstorm, research, design, and refine user experiences.
• Support the team on creative strategies for online advertising, and social media campaigns.

Preference skills

• Some training in  Web Design / Graphics / Multimedia.
• Proficiency in HTML production, HTML5, CSS
• Knowledge in Photoshop, Illustrator, and other graphic and interactive design tools is a plus
• Ability to research, learn and acquire new skills
• Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques, and technologies
• Experience in SEO is a plus.

Marketing

Job Description:

• Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns including Facebook, and Instagram.
• Digital media knowledge and knowledge in academic competitions.
• Provide creative ideas for content marketing updating our website.

Preference skills

• Experience on Facebook, Instagram, and web management.
• Good understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, and best practices.
• Experience in SEO is a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar digital marketing role.
• Skills and experience in creative content writing.

Finance

Job Description:

• Identify and suggest sponsorship opportunities for the Website; 
• Lead to the application process of sponsoring the application.
• Provide monthly updates to the founder regarding sponsorship activities.
• Manage finance activities of the website with monthly reports.

Preference skills

• Skills and experience in fundraising and financial management skills.
• Good leadership skills to lead the sponsoring application of our project.
• Proactive personality.
