A premier performing arts competition for individuals, small and large groups

It is an inclusive competition platform presented annually for talented youths, adjudicated by members of the Adjudicators’ Forum.

The  Eisteddfod showcases top young talent but more importantly as a platform for performing arts it has a positive impact on the personal growth of all its participants, irrespective of skill level and participants develop confidence and belief in themselves.

Competitiveness

(Diploma*, Gold, Silver or Bronze)

  • GOLD is awarded for a good performance well above the minimum level. 
  • SILVER is awarded for a performance that one can describe as acceptable / satisfactory / adequate
  • BRONZE is awarded for a performance that is below expectation

 

Participation Cost

Individual entries between R80 and R200

Small to large groups between R250 and R2200.

Minimum Technical Skill Needed

Any skill level is accommodated

Time Commitment

Preparation time is up to entrant.

Regional rounds, one day, if qualifying for finals, another day is required
