Maths problem-solving assessments written in test format

Working in groups to solve maths problems, which are scored and rewarded at a prize-giving

The objectives of the competition are:

  • To popularise mathematics among high schools in Western Cape
  • To raise awareness among both learners and teachers that mathematics is a subject that is enjoyable and accessible for all

The 2020 UCT Mathematics Competition has been postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
