This is an in-person or online peer-to-peer opportunity that is available to all Crimson students who are passionate and want to advance their understanding of user testing. The lucky selected participants will be able gain valuable skills within this field over the course of 3 months - a fantastic addition to any CV or college application.
Students will receive specialist mentor-ship in regards to usability practices and techniques - particularly in user-centered interaction design. They will learn the importance of evaluating products or services in their early stages, identifying issues and honing their problem solving skills. The mentor will be able to equip the participant with relevant information and future career advice. Hours and duration are subject to discussions between the mentor and applicant. However, this will entail approximately 10 hours of work over 3 months (minimum of 2 sessions per month), completing a value-add project at the mentor’s request. Once you have completed your 10 hours with us, you will receive a certificate and reference from Crimson Education.
Selection based on academic achievement and interview.
Applicants must have a keen interest in and a level of familiarity with this field.
