FEBRACE is the Brazilian Fair for Sciences and Engineering. Students who intend to participate should develop a research project (requiring up to 12 months of preparation) to be presented at the Fair at the University of São Paulo. FEBRACE's main goal is to encourage and investigative culture, entrepreneurship, and innovation among Brazilian students through science. Participating students will develop creativity, critical thinking and their social role in their communities.

Around 300 projects are selected as finalists, and there were over 2000 projects sent last year.

Participation Cost


Registering your project has no associated fees. 

Minimum Technical Skill Needed


Students must work on projects over several months that require skills in research, science, and engineering. 

Time Commitment


Although the duration of the event is only 5 days in length, there is prior project development involved.
