The Saatchi Gallery Art Prize for Schools is a competition open to primary, secondary and sixth form schools from around the world. Individuals can enter as many art works as they wish, and there is no prescribed theme for works entered, nor is there a restriction on media used; sculpture, painting, installation, photography, video and mixed media artworks are all eligible and welcome as entries. Images of the works are submitted online.
Prizes for this compeition includes a high profile exhibition of the top 20 shortlisted art works at the Saatchi Gallery.
The overall winner can win $12,000 USD for their school, and $2,500 to winning pupil.
Secondary school winner (ages 11-18): $6,400 to school, $1,200 to pupil.
Primary school winner (ages 4-11): $6,400 to school, $1,200 to pupil.

Any student from across the world are welcome to submit their work, so long as they are enrolled in a school.
All submissions are made free of charge.
There are no pre-requisite technical abilities required to enter, however, in order to an eligible winner, individuals must be creative, have practical skills in art-making, a sense of vision and an appreciation of aesthetics.
The amount of time dedicated to this competition is at the own participants discretion (e.g. one can make a one-off submission, or submit multiple artworks).
