The Dr. Feldbausch Foundation was founded in 1994, and is based in Landau in the Palatinate. The purpose of the foundation is the promotion of science and research, art and culture and broadcasting as well as education and training at state or state-recognized universities and colleges in Germany. In addition, it supports the financing of university libraries and exceptional exhibits for museums as well as other scientific, international projects.

These aims are realised in the awarding of the Art and Culture Prize - an award of 5,000 euros for scientific achievements, outstanding theses, and voluntary commitment to the cultural life of the city.

Minimum Technical Skill Needed


Applicants must present outstanding work that makes a special contribution to the city of Landau, in that it represents above-average achievements in either scientific research or art and culture. This is a very broad field - so there are no specific skill sets required to apply for this prize, so to speak.

The work submitted for this competition involves several years worth of conducted research.

Application documents can be submitted online, and must include:
Copy of thesis
Short description of the content, the maximum length is two sides of A4
Copy of diploma or other proof of grading
Tabular CV
