The OECOTROPHICA Prize is awarded annually for outstanding theses. The VDOE awards outstanding doctoral and master's theses. The aim is to promote young scientists and to promote outstanding scientific work.
Founder is the Federation for Food Law and Food Science (BLL) . The prize is awarded to a doctoral thesis in the field of nutritional behavior / consumer research and a doctoral thesis in the field of human nutrition with 1,750 euros each, as well as the best master's thesis from the mentioned fields with 750 euros each.
This is a great opportunity for young scientists to apply for a highly prestigious prize that can prove to be very beneficial for their future careers and would enhance any college application.
Only one young scientist is selected from hundreds of applicants.
There are no costs involved with the application for this prize.
Applicants must produce scientific papers from the fields of nutritional behavior / consumer research and human nutrition, which must be original and groundbreaking in their content.
The work submitted for this competition involves several years worth of conducted research.
Candidate proposals can be made by a university teacher or supervisor, however self-applications are also possible. These applications must include a cover letter, curriculum vitae and an up-to-date publication list. Please download the application form and tender documents online.
