This peer-to-peer project provides the opportunity to be involved in a research project at the University of Melbourne, a top university in Australia.

The student will be personally involved in a PhD project in the field of Type 2 diabetes mellitus with a specific focus on the effects of multimorbidity (the presence of 2 or more chronic conditions in an individual). The student will be involved in all aspects of the research project ranging from exploring the existing literature on the field of study to hands-on experience in clinical dataset analysis.

Hours and duration are subject to discussions between the mentor and applicant. However, this will entail approximately 10 hours of work completing a value-add project at the mentor’s request.
