The Innogy climate change award is award annually together with the Wilnsdorf municipality. It is awarded for services that contribute in particular to the efficient use of energy and to the preservation of natural or adverse environmental conditions in the community. Each year, the Innogy Climate Protection Award honors projects that advance environmental and climate protection in a city or township. The respective municipality decides together with Innogy about a prize award, which is endowed with a subsidy amount. In total, more than 6,000 projects have been awarded since 1995.
Whether it's a company, a citizen or an initiative - there are countless opportunities to work for nature and the environment right on our doorstep. The submitted activities may still be in the planning, are being implemented, or already completed. Which projects are funded and how the funding is divided among the individual projects is decided by a jury. As a result, numerous good ideas from the local and regional environment regularly become available to the public and give others the courage to take their own initiative.

The Innogy climate protection award recognizes measures that contribute to climate and environmental protection. The essential condition for participation is that the project is public and generally accessible - there are particular skills that are necessary for entry.
The amount of time dedicated to this competition project(s) is at the discretion of the participant and is therefore subject to variability.
Ask your local council if they would like to award the climate protection prize this year with Innogy. If so, submit your application there. The condition for participation is that your initiative is charitable. It needs no special form. A short description of your project - with photos - is enough! You then send the application directly to the municipality.
