The nationwide student competition, "ECHT KUL-L" - for sustainable agriculture and nutrition issues a different theme every year. This competition invites children and adolescents of all types of school - from the 3rd to the 10th grade - on a voyage of discovery into the world of sustainable agriculture and nutrition. How their diet affects the environment can be experienced when visiting farms, processing plants and so on. The competition aims to encourage participants to translate what they have learned into creative contributions: websites, audio drama, reportage, (advertising) posters, videos, songs, games, collages and much more are conceivable. Even student cafés or cooking events at the schools are eligible. Each year, the main topics change. Class, course, project work or individual contributions can be submitted.
There are more than 40 prizes to be won, including monetary prizes and a three-day trip to Berlin for the winners in each age group.
