Competition Skill Building Other

Since 1987, the National Centre for Civic Education has organized this competition annually in cooperation with the Rhineland-Palatinate Landtag. It is aimed at all Rhineland-Palatinate youth between the ages of 13 and 20: to pupils, trainees and young professionals - but of course also as animators to join the teachers; because many of the topics can be optimally integrated into the lessons.

Group, class and individual papers can be submitted for each of the three given topics relating to current socio-political events. In the form of the presentation, all participants have the choice between a text work and a visual or media processing - the imaginative imagination knows no bounds.

A jury judges all submitted works separately according to the school type and age of the participants. The awarding of the first and second prizes always takes place shortly before the summer holidays in Mainz.
