This peer-to-peer opportunity is ideal for candidates who are interested in pursuing a future in Chemistry and / or teaching.

The mentor in this opportunity graduated from the University of Auckland with a PHD in Chemistry before becoming a lecturer at the University of Otago. Now acting as an emeritus professor, this mentor has years’ worth of knowledge and skills that can bestowed upon the chosen candidate.

This peer-to-peer opportunity will allow the chosen student to learn from someone in the industry who has been in the forefront of it all, allowing for a direct pathway to gain priceless knowledge.

Hours and duration are subject to discussions between the mentor and applicant. However, this will entail approximately 10 hours of work completing a value-add project at the mentor’s request.
