This peer-to-peer opportunity is suited for students who are interested in pursuing a medical career and have a strong interest in social responsibility.
This opportunity allows the selected student to be mentored by an individual who has a double degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Auckland. During their time at university – this individual co-founded The Learning Collaborative NZ which is a non-profit organisation that focuses on tutoring, leadership and marketing to improve educational equity in New Zealand.
The chosen student will have the opportunity to discuss their potential career ideas and options and receive feedback from an active industry professional.
Hours and duration are subject to discussions between the mentor and applicant. However, this will entail approximately 10 hours of work completing a value-add project at the mentor’s request.
