Trinity College London is a leading international exam board and independent education charity that has been providing assessments globally since 1877. Trinity specialises in the assessment of communication and performance skills covering music, drama, combined arts and English language.
Each year Trinity makes a significant contribution to performing arts education in New Zealand, in the exam room and beyond. Trinity are partners of the Overture Partners of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, supporting the National Youth Orchestra, and education partners of Chamber Music New Zealand, supporting their outreach programme.
For Drama and Speech, the syllabuses provide a structured framework designed to encourage the progressive development of integrated performance and communication skills over time. The solo and pair graded exams and diplomas are fully accredited in the UK and recognised internationally in many other countries.
