The 2020 ACE (Academic and Cultural Experience) Program is an exciting and unique study abroad experience at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU), an international university in Beppu, Japan. The program is conducted entirely in English. High school students grade 10 and above at the time of this program are welcome to apply. We are holding the program twice this year, and you can choose Option① or Option② based on your availability.
As a participant in this program, you will engage in workshops and group work focused on the themes of language and culture while being fully immersed in APU’s diverse environment. Through these activities, you will develop your multicultural understanding and intercultural communication skills.
This program also includes a homestay and other activities with the local community, where you will experience authentic traditions and the hospitality of Oita Prefecture.
