The Neutral Density Awards Photo Contest is a highly prestigious and sought-after competition among aspiring and amateur photographers.

With a strong vision of development direction in photography, the ND Awards are aimed at all types of photography and offer a platform where participants vie for the title as they compete in five categories: Architecture, Fine Art, Nature, People and Special. One of the central goals of the ND Awards is to create a global hub of photography that ushers the convergence of outstanding artists together, promote their art, and yield unique opportunities for professionals and amateurs to showcase their skills.

The Awards afford the opportunity to amateur photographers from across the globe to submit their works for the competition where financial rewards and an opportunity of recognition, prestige and promotion. The values that underscore this award likewise extends the same chance to each entrant and each submitted work. Everyone can be a winner this competition, regardless of the equipment used or technique employed. Participants select and upload their best work for a chance to compete for prestige, fame and monetary awards.

Non-professional Grand Prize will receive: $1300 cash prize, ND Discovery of the Year title, monthly feature on the front page of ND Magazine, showcase for a year at the front page of Winners' Gallery and international press and publicity.

2019 professional category winners, 6 professional category winners will receive: $500 cash prize each, ND Category Photographer of the Year title, weekly feature on the front page of ND Magazine, showcase at the Winners' Gallery and international press and publicity.

2019 non-professional category winners, 5 non-professional category winners will receive: $300 cash prize each, ND Category Discovery of the Year title, weekly feature on the front page of ND Magazine, showcase at the Winners' Gallery and international press and publicity.

Non-Professional - Single image entry fee: $15

Non-Professional - Series entry fee (from 2 to 5 images): $20 Final Deadline Fees (22 September 2019)

Non-Professional - Single image entry fee: $20

NB: There is no limit to the number of entries (single or series) each artist may submit, and these can be submitted online. One may enter their entry into a single Category, or any of the 30 sub-categories. Fee for multiple category entries is $10 per category.

Minimum Technical Skill Needed

A high level of technical skill is not required to enter - the event is open to all photographers, whether they are amateur or professional. However, an excellent understanding of photography, the visual arts and having a strong eye for detail is advantageous.

Time Commitment

NB: The time commitment will vary from participant to participant - anywhere from a single photo to multiple photos can be submitted. The amount of time dedicated will be at the participants discretion.
