The People is a student-led group in Ho Chi Minh City. The organization’s aim is to organize projects and events to educate and connect the public, mostly students in Southern Vietnam, to help protect the environment.
Organization’s team members will participate in brainstorming storyline for Facebook posts to demonstrate methods to recycle and reuse unused materials. Their posts also highlight the epidemic trash litter in Vietnam to urge the public, mainly students, to act and speak with their relatives and friends about this major problem.
The organization also repost articles and updates from around the world about the plastic litter problem and the activities or policies that other organizations and governments are doing to address the problem.
Activities include campaigning to the public about recycling, reusing materials, building household items using unused plastic bottles, using paper-made items for grocery shopping, eating out, etc.
Some creative activities that the organization has done: organized a recycling roadshow for paper and remaking paper into usable products.
