The Youth Environment Leaders Forum (YELF) is a a leadership development program held over one week of adventure, hosting 55 students with a passion for the environment. YELF provides students with the opportunity to discuss topics relating to environmental issues in our country and formulate strategies to address them.
Issues that will be discussed at YELF 2019 will relate to climate change, our oceans, fresh water and biodiversity. Students will develop leadership skills, engage and meet inspiring speakers such as community leaders and politicians. By attending YELF, students will also become eligible to join future Young Blake Expeditions as student voyagers.
