The New Zealand Engineering Science Competition is an annual problem-solving competition for secondary school students in New Zealand, organised by the University of Auckland’s Department of Engineering Science.

Students form teams of 3 or 4 people and tackle challenging problems in engineering for First Prize of $6000NZD and two Runner-Up Prizes of $2,000 NZD.
