ICMAT, the Institute for Sciences and Mathematics, organises education visits to businesses and research centres for students in their last year of ESO.
The Institute's goal is to provide students with insight into what working as a mathematical scientists is like, and inspire them to pursue careers in the field.
Participants spend four days at ICMAT, getting to know the institute's daily activities, attending workshops, meeting the researchers that work there and getting first hand accounts of their work.
