Open to students in the 2º de bachillerato in any school in Madrid, this initiative of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid seeks to further the understanding of the importance of research amongst young learners.
Participants submit their research papers, in one of four pre-determined areas, and selected students proceed to present their research to a panel of experts at the university.
Prizes include a certified diploma of participation and a year's worth of credits at UCM.

Requires significant involvement in research to be eligible for admission
Successful participants' travel to final phase potentially to be paid separately.
Some level of serious expertise and/or commitment required.
Final phase lasts 3 days. Some time commitment to be expected in planning, carrying out and documenting the research project presented.
Students must be registered by their school. Also required is a 10-line abstract of research project.
