Individuals or teams of two conduct research around the central theme of water: specifically water resource management; protecting water sources; and water treatment.
Students present their research to a panel, winners at the national level continue to the international competition in Stockholm.
Winners of the international competition win €15.000 and receive a diploma.

Participation fees are nominal
Talented students in the sciences compete in this event.
Although the event is one-time, students are expected to develop a project in their team that requires a large time commitment.
Participating students must be registered by a teacher.
