Competition Skill Building

Description

NOI is an annual nation-wide programming competition that aims to provide our best students with the ultimate challenge in computing and programming.

Top NOI winners will also be selected into the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) Training Team to undergo further training. They will then be able to vie for a place in the prestigious Singapore IOI team to compete in the 23rd IOI, to be held in Singapore.

Depending on the COVID-19 situation, NOI 2020 might be conducted before APIO. If this is the case and prevailing precautionary measures for COVID-19 from MOH, MOE and NUS limits the onsite contest to only Y participants, then only the top Y participants of the Qualification Contest will be invited. Then, changes to the medal allocation algorithm announced earlier will be necessary. Any such changes will be announced after the event date of NOI 2020 is determined.
