Description

The USA National Economics Challenge is an annual competition on Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International and current events, and will be hosted by the Council for Economic Education in New York City.

The top state teams in the National Semi-Finals will be selected for the National Finals to compete for the grand prize. Competitors are placed into two divisions: Adam Smith Division - for Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate and Honours students and the David Ricardo Division - for semester general economics students participating in the challenge for the first time.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 13, 2020 : NATIONAL SEMI-FINALS
State competition winners compete online to determine who will advance to the Nationall Finals.
Make-up dates for teams on spring break or with valid absence will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2020.

SATURDAY, MAY 16—MONDAY, MAY 18, 2020 : NATIONAL FINALS
The top teams in each division from the National Semi-Finals compete for the national title online.
