Non-profit educational organization Summer in JAPAN (SIJ) has been offering exciting summer opportunities for youth in Japan and overseas since 2013. SIJ provides youth aged 7 to 18 from all over the world with the SIJ summer camp where they learn liberal arts workshop classes in English for seven days taught mainly by Harvard College students instructors who successfully passed both the written and interview elimination procedure. In return to teaching this camp, the university students instructors are welcome to explore exciting “not in the guidebook” opportunities to discover Japan. Eigo-Mura Camp is held by NPO Manabiba(Saitama-shi, Saitama-Ken) at the National Women’s Education Center(NWEC) in Saitama. The characteristic that sets this Eigomura Camp apart from other English camp programs is that English communication skills are polished by the participation of people of various nationalities, ages, and English skill levels.
