The Patricia Grodd Poetry Prize for Young Writers recognizes outstanding young poets and is open to high school sophomores and juniors throughout the world. The contest winner receives a full scholarship to the  Kenyon Review Young Writers  workshop. In addition, the winning poem and the poems of the two runners-up will be published in the  Kenyon Review , one of the country’s most widely read literary magazines. The contest is named in honor of Patricia Grodd in recognition of her generous support of the  Kenyon Review  and its programs, as well as her passionate commitment to education and deep love for poetry. About the Contest Bennington College has a  unique literary legacy , including twelve  Pulitzer Prize winners , three U.S. poet laureates, four MacArthur Geniuses, countless  New York Times  bestsellers , and two of  Time  magazine’s 100 most influential people. In celebration of this legacy, Bennington launched the Young Writers Awards to promote excellence in writing at the high school level. What do crisis line volunteers do? The National Runaway Safeline’s crisis line volunteers connect with runaway, homeless and at-risk youth and their families at their most vulnerable moments. Creative Shock is a global social business case competition for students which first took place in 2011. Participants every year are gathered to solve finance, marketing, PR and strategy problems for social businesses. By organizing this competition, we seek to introduce students to real-life global social business models and to communicate how all traditional business strategies can be applied to social enterprises and organizations, improve students’ strategic thinking by challenging them with real marketing and management problems, promote social business all around the world. The Big Bang Competition  recognises and rewards young people's achievements in all areas of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM), whilst providing them with the opportunity to build their skills and confidence in project-based work. The Competition is open to all UK residents in full-time education or training (year groups 7 to 13 and Scottish/NI equivalent). NASA internships and fellowships leverage NASA’s unique missions and programs to enhance and increase the capability, diversity and size of the nation’s future science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) workforce. Internships are available from high school to graduate level. Internships provide students with the opportunity to participate in either research or other experiential learning, under the guidance of a mentor at NASA.   NASA INTERNS CONTRIBUTE TO NASA MISSIONS!
