Australasian Youth Cubesat Initiative Worldwide
The Australasian Youth Cubesat Initiative is a student-led educational initiative which aims to inspire the next generation of aerospace leaders, engineers and thinkers by developing and launching a 3U Cubesat into orbit. The CubeSat will transmit live video back to earth, along with data from two student-built Arduino experiments which will be selected from a region-wide educational competition. The Australasian Youth Cubesat Initiative aims to involve a large range of students from diverse backgrounds while maintaining equal male and female participation. Our core team is currently comprised of seven students located in Australia and New Zealand with a diverse range of skills. We are currently in the process of establishing an industry advisory board which will guide and mentor the team. We are currently seeking high school and university students with experience in software engineering, marketing, copyrighting, aerospace, business and law. We encourage all students with experience or an interest in any of these areas to apply and to be apart of the world's first student-led CubeSat initiative. Students can apply here .
